Overlay technology
TechWars: Global Conflict is the first game offering the overlay feature on The Abyss platform. Overlay is an advanced technology developed by our team that allows to incorporate The Abyss platform user interfaces in the games and access various features while playing games.
In TechWars: Global Conflict an overlay may be used for in-game purchasing. The game supports micro-transactions and in-game items (skins, mechs, etc.), so you can enable an overlay to make a purchase during the game session.
The overlay functionality on The Abyss will be constantly expanding in the course of further platform development. For example, it will offer support to numerous social features, like friends list, chat, group/game invites, matchmaking, etc. It will also allow screenshots to be captured in-game and access to other features available on The Abyss platform.
