Building an Ecosystem for Privacy-First Applications to Thrive
It’s been just a month since the Oasis Foundation started its new grants program with the goal of supporting and growing a community around privacy-first applications and solutions. The Oasis Foundation is focused on building a better internet, and that takes the support and help of an entire community!
Since launch we’ve funded a number of projects — and are considering and kicking off more each day! To date, projects have included foundational tooling and support for the network as it prepares for Mainnet, tooling for the broader ecosystem, and further research into data privacy technologies writ large.
For example, both Stake.Fish and Figment Networks are both in the process of developing validator leaderboards / trackers first for the Oasis Testnet and ultimately for Mainnet. You can check out Stake Fish’s version here.
As the network grows, we’d also like to expand our own grants program — including more grants for software tooling, research, privacy dapp development and more. Below are a few areas where we’d love to see community involvement. And if you have another great idea that’s not listed we’d love to hear it.
