6 Creative Ways People Are Using Pepo That We Never Expected

Every day we’re amazed at how people are coming up with new ways to use Pepo.

Hosting meetups, holding team sessions, sharing project updates, (goofing off), teaching new concepts, and raising awareness of causes. We built the social app for crypto enthusiasts to connect, and the community never ceases to surprise us with new ways of coming together.

Here are some of the most popular creative trends we’ve seen recently.

1. Explaining Crypto to the Family

The top videos each brought in over 2,000 likes. Folks tackled the challenge with a variety of approaches, from a demo involving an army of robots, to a very crypto take on a classic Christmas carol.

See all the award winners here.

2. DAOs

@alexmasmej has been posting frequent updates on DAOs — decentralized autonomous organizations — which is one of the hottest topics in crypto these days.

4. A Place for Prolific Crypto Creators

Week in Ethereum’s Evan Van Ness became a “YouTube refugee” on Pepo and says he has played with it daily since discovering the app for himself this fall. Evan joins other well-known voices such as Charlie Shrem and Anna George, and plenty more, that you can find by browsing in the app. Needless to say, we welcome all crypto creators to be part of the Pepo community.

5. In-Person Meetups

People have been using Pepo to coordinate bringing people together in person.

The Fledge, a group we highlighted in a post last month, held the first in-person Pepo meetup.

Now, Gnosis, which has been a strong supporter and partner of the Pepo app, is organizing an in-person gathering with multinational craft brewery BrewDog later this month in Berlin. So if you’re in the neighborhood, grab a beer with BrewDog and Pepo!

Our CEO Jason announced a campaign to help those suffering from the devastating fires in Australia. For every like the video gets, 10 Pepos will be donated to help fight the blazes. We want to thank our generous users for their support and encourage those who can to contribute to the effort.
