GENERATION ACTON IV AND STANMORE IV SPEAKERS FOR THE HOME

GENERATION ACTON IV AND STANMORE IV SPEAKERS FOR THE HOME

Marshall raises the volume on home audio, unveiling the next generation of Acton IV and Stanmore IV speakers. With more powerful, room-filling sound, integrated Auracast™ technology, and a refreshed yet iconic design, this speaker pair delivers enhanced performance and style.
In this latest update, both sound and usability have been elevated across Acton IV and Stanmore IV. Each speaker benefits from upgraded tweeters and waveguides to deliver a wider, more evenly dispersed and expansive soundstage. A thoughtfully redesigned bass port improves airflow for cleaner, more powerful bass, while bottom-placed cables allow placement flush against the wall without affecting audio quality.
In parallel, Dynamic Loudness ensures music sounds incredible at any volume and that every detail is balanced. At low levels, the sound retains clarity, richness, and warmth, and when turned up, improved limiters help deliver a cleaner sound across both speakers.
Staying true to Marshall’s unmistakable aesthetic, Acton IV and Stanmore IV retain a timeless, analogue feel. They feature beloved design cues to complement any home set-up, from signature PU leather wrapping to the now-iconic salt and pepper fret and amp-inspired controls. The classic brass control panel has been updated to include an improved media jog and signature power switch. Designed with purpose and precision, controls are made to intuitively help users find the best settings and sound. Easily adjust volume, bass, and treble, and manage music playback when playing via Bluetooth. Plus, the addition of a new customisable M-button offers instant access to music or personalised settings.
It’s easy to bring other audio devices into the listening set-up too. With RCA and AUX inputs, vinyl enthusiasts can now connect a record player to bring a warm, timeless sound into any space. No matter the source, each speaker is tuned with precision by in-house acoustic engineers to deliver a sound that has presence and demands attention.
A dedicated Marshall app completes the experience, allowing users to customise sound, adjust EQ presets, and optimise audio with placement compensation so each speaker sounds exactly as it should, wherever placed.
“Since first launching in 2012, Marshall’s home speakers have evolved while remaining true to our heritage. These always-in-place speakers form the foundation of any home setup, with Acton and Stanmore chosen time and again for their iconic design, premium build quality, rich, powerful sound, and intuitive tactile controls. With our fourth generation, the focus has been on protecting and strengthening these core qualities, building on what people love rather than reinventing it” said Simona Berbec, Product Manager at Marshall Group.
The MDF cabinet used in Acton IV and Stanmore IV is made from FSC™ 100%‑certified wood and both speakers can be repaired with replaceable parts including the knobs, feet, and the grille.
PLAY TOGETHER WITH MULTI-SPEAKER CONNECTIVITY
With built-in Auracast™ technology, Marshall users can now expand their audio setup and enjoy music playing in sync across multiple Acton IV and Stanmore IV speakers. Acton III and Stanmore III can also join the experience via Marshall’s newly launched streaming hub, Heddon, making it simple to create a seamless multi-speaker listening set-up.
Setting up via Heddon is even more seamless than before. A one-time set-up using the Marshall app is all it takes, then just press and hold the M-button to enjoy perfectly synced sound around the home. Heddon can be purchased via marshall.com for $299 AUD or included free of charge when purchasing two or more eligible home speakers.
Acton IV and Stanmore IV are available to buy from today in black or cream at marshall.com, priced at $499 AUD and $679 AUD respectively, and through select retailers.
ACTON IV & STANMORE IV KEY FEATURES
Wide soundstage: Improved tweeters and waveguides create a better, wider soundstage. This is achieved by dispersing sound more evenly and covering a larger area across the room. Enhanced stereo separation also makes listening feel more expansive. Instruments are more separated, making them easier to follow, while adding a sense of realism, depth, and spatial positioning.
Enhanced bass: Marshall’s in-house acoustic engineers redesigned the bass port to create a more aerodynamic shape that results in a cleaner and more powerful bass. It also delivers a tighter sound at higher volumes. With cables now at the bottom of each speaker, place them flush against the wall without affecting performance.
Dynamic Loudness: Enjoy a consistent, composed sound. With subtle adjustments to high and low frequencies, the tonal balance is adapted to ensure music sounds as it should at every volume. Even during quieter listening sessions, the clarity, richness, and warmth of each track are retained. Improved limiters also help create a cleaner sound at higher volumes.
Customisable M-Button: The addition of the M-button makes it simple to instantly adjust the sound to preferred EQ settings or activate Spotify Tap to start listening to music, all with just one press.
Tactile controls: The classic brass panel on top of both speakers is home to our reliable amp-inspired controls making adjusting volume, bass, treble, or managing music playback even more straightforward. Continuing the connection with a heritage amp design, both speakers look and feel just as a timeless Marshall speaker should.
Analogue inputs: The sound of vinyl is irreplaceable. Thanks to a new RCA input, bringing a record player into the listening set-up is easier than ever. Add other audio devices by simply connecting a lead with a 3.5 mm stereo jack to the AUX input on the top panel of the speaker.
Marshall app: Setting up, customising, and controlling sound are made simple with the Marshall app. Whether playing music that inspires or listening to a podcast, tailor sound to fit the mood. Adjusting EQ settings helps achieve personalised sound, while room calibration creates the perfect acoustic fit for any space.
MAKING PRODUCTS LAST LONGER

The MDF-cabinet used in Acton IV and Stanmore IV is made from FSC 100%‑certified material (FSC™ C225755)1, supporting responsible forest management. This claim applies only to the wood components; the product also contains other materials not covered by FSC certification.

2 Includes post-consumer recycled ABS, post-consumer recycled PC-ABS, pre-consumer recycled aluminum alloy, post-consumer recycled neodymium (rare-earth elements) and post-consumer recycled polyester. Calculations are based on total product weight, excluding accessories and packaging.
