Why is the bitcoin system considered a payment system if instead of ownership rights it only transfers numbers, like for e g. messaging systems?

In the video linked below it is explained why Bitcoin system is not a payment system but messaging system similar to SMS or Viber. It is also explained that bitcoin is not money but a message, a numeric message. Finally, it is explained that bitcoin wallet is not a wallet but a messaging application. That’s because bitcoin system doesn’t transfer ownership rights on some type of property, like payment systems do. But it only transfers data. So bitcoin system is like when a girlfriend sends you an SMS message: “Thank you for the gift". She didn’t transfer ownership rights. Just data in the form of letters.
