‘Close To The Finish Line’: Bitwise CCO Speaks On Ethereum ETFs Progress
Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) are reportedly nearing approval, according to Bitwise CCO Matt Hougan. Hougan stated that the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has been “asking probing questions” and that the industry is “close to the finish line” in terms of obtaining approval for these highly anticipated investment vehicles. If approved, Ethereum ETFs would provide investors with an easy and regulated way to gain exposure to the cryptocurrency, potentially boosting its mainstream adoption and liquidity.
