Smart Contract Engineer — Lista Protocol
Lista Protocol is hiring across engineering roles to help build and maintain core infrastructure for a DeFi protocol focused on liquid staking, lending, collateralized debt positions, and stablecoin mechanics.
We are looking for Solidity Engineers, Protocol Engineers, and Security Engineers / Smart Contract Auditors who want to work on production-grade DeFi systems. Depending on the role, you may contribute to smart contracts, protocol design, protocol upgrades, integrations, audits, testing, monitoring, and security improvements across the Lista ecosystem.
Responsibilities
– Design, develop, test, and maintain smart contracts, protocol systems, and security workflows for DeFi products.
– Work on protocol features related to staking, lending, collateral, liquidity, stablecoin systems, liquidation logic, and oracle integrations.
– Write high-quality unit, integration, invariant, fuzz, and simulation tests where relevant to your role.
– Collaborate with engineers, auditors, researchers, product teams, and ecosystem partners to improve security and reliability.
– Review smart contract and protocol changes, identify risks, and support audit preparation before release.
– Monitor deployed contracts and help improve protocol operations, incident response, and risk management.
Requirements
– Strong engineering experience in one or more areas: Solidity, protocol engineering, smart contract security, or auditing.
– Experience with DeFi protocols such as lending markets, CDPs, liquid staking, AMMs, or stablecoins.
– Familiarity with tools such as Foundry, Hardhat, ethers.js, TypeScript, Slither, Echidna, or similar.
– Strong understanding of security risks relevant to your role, including smart contract vulnerabilities, oracle risk, liquidation logic, access control, upgradeability, governance risk, and economic attack vectors.
– Ability to write clear tests, reason carefully about edge cases, and communicate tradeoffs.
– Comfortable working in a remote, async team.
Nice to Have
– Experience building or auditing lending, staking, or stablecoin protocols.
– Familiarity with BNB Chain, Ethereum, or multi-chain deployments.
– Experience with formal verification, fuzzing, invariant testing, economic modeling, or risk parameter analysis.
– Prior contributions to open-source DeFi projects.
