Business Analyst with Blockchain

Iselin, NJ or Charlotte, NC (onsite role)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong domain knowledge in Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) to bridge business needs with technical solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders, developers, and product teams to analyse requirements, design blockchain-based solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements for blockchain-based applications

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify use cases suitable for Blockchain/DLT implementation

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories

• Work with developers and architects on blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger)

• Conduct feasibility analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and risk assessment

• Define workflows, process models, and data flows using DLT systems

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects

• Hands-on exposure to Blockchain / DLT projects

Technical Skills:

• Understanding of Blockchain concepts (decentralization, consensus algorithms, cryptography)

• Familiarity with platforms like Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Corda

• Knowledge of smart contracts and tools like Solidity (basic understanding preferred)

Business & Analytical Skills:

• Strong requirement elicitation and documentation skills (BRD, FRD, SRS)

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• Problem-solving and analytical thinking

• Ability to map business processes and identify optimization opportunities
