A developer has successfully created a comprehensive Ethereum client, dubbed ETH2030, in a mere two weeks, demonstrating the accelerated capabilities of AI in coding, particularly for the ambitious 2030 roadmap. This achievement reflects a broader trend in which AI agentic coding allows single developers to complete extensive projects much faster than previously possible, raising hopes for quicker roadmap completion with enhanced security standards. The project includes 702,000 lines of Go code and aligns with 65 roadmap items, while also utilizing AI to expedite the generation of test cases and formal verification for critical security components like STARKs theorems.
