deBridge has announced the launch of its Model Context Protocol (MCP), which enables AI agents and developer tools to execute non-custodial cross-chain transactions across EVM-compatible chains and Solana. This development is part of a broader trend in the blockchain industry where AI integration is being leveraged to automate onchain tasks, simplifying cross-chain interactions for non-human users. The introduction of MCP, which promises deterministic execution and MEV-aware routing, builds upon deBridge’s December release of Bundles, an intent-based execution model that minimized chain-level complexity and user friction.
