Aphelion Weekly Update July 19, 2019 – Aphelion DEX

Its been a great week at Aphelion starting with a successful BitMart listing

“We are delighted to list APH on our exchange,” said Sheldon Xia, Founder & CEO of BitMart. “The Aphelion solution allows users to trade cryptocurrency in a decentralized and trustless environment which also coincides with BitMart’s mission.”

In addition to the new listing, we’ve completed BTC wallet integration and are undergoing final testing with a public release coming later this month.

This advancement represents a big milestone for us and a huge step forward towards our ultimate goal of full DEX integration. It is important to note the coming release will allow users to send/receive/check history and token stats for BTC just like you can now for all NEO based assets.

A few points:

-New and existing Aphelion users will be auto-assigned a new Bip39 passphrase for back up, but BTC trading in the DEX is still under development and on target for a release later this year.

-We are working hard to allow Ledger support for BTC right out of the gate but that is to be determined. We don’t want to delay the release so Ledger could be released as a quick follow but stay tuned for an official update.

-With BTC done and a release coming this month, we’ve already made huge progress on ERC20 integration and we expect that to come in a matter of weeks not months.

Lastly, we’ve begun researching partnerships with fiat gateways and continue evaluating our KYC process based on recent letter from the SEC and expect to make announcements on both of those fronts in the coming weeks.

Have a great weekend!
