In a recent ā¢interview, Jason Lowery, author āof the book Softwar, discussed the idea that Bitcoin cannot be banned, but rather, people can only choose to ban themselves from benefiting from āit.
Lowery explainedā thatā Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency, āmeaning it is not controlled by any government or central authority.ā This makesā¤ it impossible to ban, as it is not subject to the sameā¢ regulations as traditional currencies.
Lowery went on to explain that while governments may be able to restrictā£ access to Bitcoin exchanges or other services related to the currency, theyā£ cannot prevent people āfrom usingā¢ it. Overall, Loweryāsā messageā¢ was clear: while governments may be ā¢able to restrict access toā¢ Bitcoin, they cannot banā¤ it. He argued that people should not be discouraged from using Bitcoin, as it ācan provide many benefits. Instead, heā encouraged people to educate ā£themselves on the technology and make an informed decision about whether or not to use it.
