X reverses error, allows cryptocurrency ads with disclosure

How to Sign Bitcoin Messages

X has reversed a prior decision that removed “financial products” and “crypto” from its Paid Partnerships Policy, which means that advertisements related to cryptocurrency must now include the “Paid” disclosure label. Nikita stated that the initial change was an error that has since been corrected, emphasizing his interest in prediction markets. This move aligns with X’s rules mandating that promotions involving third-party compensation must comply with advertising laws, including the FTC’s guidelines, ensuring transparency in endorsements and promotions.
