Wyoming acquires stake in Strive, Inc, a Bitcoin treasury company

Bitcoin miner MARA buys majority stake in AI data center firm Exaion

The State of Wyoming has made a significant move by acquiring a stake in Strive Inc. (ASST), a Bitcoin treasury company co-founded by Vivek Ramaswamy. This purchase marks one of the first instances of a U.S. state investing public funds in a firm that primarily focuses on accumulating and holding Bitcoin as a core treasury asset, with Wyoming now holding approximately 7,580 shares after a recent reverse stock split. Strive has established itself as a leading player in the Bitcoin treasury space, possessing around 13,132 Bitcoin valued at approximately $946 million. This investment underscores Wyoming’s commitment to embracing Bitcoin innovation, potentially inspiring other states to adopt similar strategies amid increasing institutional interest, as highlighted by Vanguard Group’s recent stake increase in Strive.
