Wanchain Light Wallet Updated to 1.1.0 – Wanchain

The new version adds private transactions, Trezor support, and French language support

The 1.1.0 version of the Wanchain desktop light wallet was released on October 25, 2019, with three major new features.

  • Privacy support for WAN transactions
  • Trezor support
  • French language support (Thank you to our community member and validator, StarWan!)

In the new version of the wallet, there are two addresses for each sub-account. The shorter address is used for ordinary transactions, and the longer address is used for private transactions. To learn more about private transactions, please read more at the privacy transactions section on Wandevs.org.

The previous version of the light wallet supported the Ledger hardware wallet. In this version, we have added support for Trezor, one of the most widely used hardware wallets.

In addition to English, Chinese, Korean, and Thai, the light wallet now also has French support.

Wanchain is the infrastructure connecting the decentralized financial world. Wanchain’s live cross-blockchain solution is EVM-based, includes optional private transactions, and provides a decentralized, permissionless, and secure approach for interoperability. Wanchain has employees globally with teams in Beijing (China), Austin (USA), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), and Madrid (Spain).
