Verasity Expands its Crypto Gateway to Include BTC – Verasity
Verasity has launched BTC redemptions for its in-game rewards. In-game reward redemptions were limited to VRA and we have now added BTC. Redemptions for in-game rewards are live here. This is an expansion of our crypto gateway in preparation for additional functionality including a fiat gateway.
This is a big step for Verasity’s mobile game expansion because the BTC Faucet Market is 200m+ users and we are now able to tap into that market with our first game — Triviata. The market expansion for task-based apps like Trivata is 50 times larger when BTC is added as a reward. This will allow Triviata to scale exponentially but more importantly will attract other game publishers to utilize Verasity tech to tap into this market.
This will obviate any selling pressure on VRA (rewards in BTC not in VRA). Furthermore, Verasity will continue to use its fiat revenue to randomly buy back VRA.
In-game rewards to BTC redemption guide
While Verasity is working on providing you with a way to easily exchange fiat money to VRA we are now introducing a new redemption option: Crystals can now be redeemed into BTC.
1. Go to https://redeem.triviata.io
2. Sign in with your Triviata credentials.
3. Choose your redemption currency
4. View your redemption history by clicking the “Redemption History” button.
5. To proceed with a redemption, click “Get started” at the bottom of the page.
6. Now enter the amount of crystals you want to redeem.
(Note: there is a minimum redemption amount which depends on the live Bitcoin tx)
7. When you enter the amount of crystals you will see the actual amount of BTC that will be transferred to your wallet as well as the tx fee that will be paid to process the transaction (BTC tx fees are set by the bitcoin blockchain rules).
To continue, enter your bitcoin wallet address and press “Redeem now”.
8. Check that everything is correct and confirm by pressing the “Redeem now” button.
9. Success! We are now processing your BTC redemption. It may take up to 24 hours to be processed. Meanwhile you can always check the status from the main screen: click “Back to Main Screen”.
10. In your Redemption history section you can track the status changes of your redemption all the way to successful redemption.
11. Share our new redemption to BTC with your friends!
