TOKENFACTORY digital shares updated and now available
Zug 9th of December 2019 — In May this year, we tokenized our own equity and issued our digital shares as security tokens on the Ethereum Blockchain, using our tokenization solution.
Meanwhile we have changed our legal entity name from “blockimmo” to: Token Factory Switzerland Ltd. and thus the already issued security token “IMMO” had to follow, which is possible and inline with our underlying legal framework (see: IMMO Token Terms para 12).
New Security Token “TOKENFACTORY” issued
We have removed the “IMMO” security token from our on-chain register and with that have paused (indefinitely) the possibility to transfer the token. In addition we have issued a new security token called “TOKENFACTORY” (Etherscan link) and distributed the tokens to all the existing token holders (shareholders) of the company.
ITIN — International Token Identification Number
From the International Token Standardization Association (ITSA) we have received an unique identifier (ITIN) for our digital shares (7H3M-9XPG-T), which we have included in our security token smart-contract. With the International Token Identification Number (ITIN) ITSA is developing and implementing an open market standard for the safe and secure identification of cryptographic tokens. Its large implementation will drastically increase transparency and reduce operational risks.
Exchange / Trading update
We are in contact with several (soon to be announced) digital asset exchange in order to get our security token listed. Besides that, the token is already tradable through UniSwap, the decentralized marketplace for peer-to-peer token transfer. For example you can use STX.SWISS — a UniSwap window to the decentralized trading world — to start trading TOKENFACTORY today.
