The Tools I Use Daily To Trade

Dear Impatient Trader Readers,

I get a lot of questions daily on what I use to help me Trade daily, so I thought I would write a post on it. I will provide a breakdown of the tools, services and people I follow that have helped me achieve success in the stock market…

Stock Newsletters/Chatrooms

Daily Profit Machine: Davis Martin has helped thousands of new traders confidently approach the options market over the last 5 years. Davis focuses on consistently profitable SPY Option trade every day which is alerted to all members around 9am every day. the premarket. He also is a swing trader of Mid-Large Cap Stocks, Indexes and Options in order to help traders build their accounts, while minimizing risk and maximizing upside potential. Davis likes to keep it simple, so he only uses a ‘buy to open’ and ‘sell to close’ strategy for his day and swing trades. His program is perfect for small and large accounts alike. Just see a look at the potential returns you could have made for May and June 2019.

Brokers and Scanners

I’m currently running TradeStation as my main broker, but I also use Think or Swim and E*TRADE for charting software. My computer set-up handles all the programs and chatrooms with zero lagging. Here is what I use daily to trade with.

TradeStation: I switched to TradeStation after using Etrade for a long time. I was mostly interested in lowering my commissions and with the TradeStation salutes program, I pay zero commissions on my trades. I do not like the platform that much, but I prefer the mobile app over all of them out there.

Etrade Pro: I used E*TRADE for a very long time and I was very happy with their service and platform, but they refused to lower their fees. I still use it for charting because I think it is the best computer trading platform out there.

Think or Swim: I have found this to be the most versatile platform and I use it daily for all of my charting. By far the best platform for customizing your charts to exactly how you want them to look for trading. The reason I don’t use it is because the trade execution can be very slow and I have had some bad luck will fills on orders.

Trade Ideas: If you are going to need one tool and one too only, then this is a must for day traders. The scanners are the best in the business and used by lots of retail trader. This is the most customizable scanners on the market, so that you can be alerted in real time on your favorite indicators.

StockCharts.com: Extremely useful tool create and post charts for people to view. Super simple to use and all my charts for my watchlists come from here.

Computers and Equipment

Custom build AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950x computer with 64gb of RAM and (2) 27-inch Sceptre curved monitors. Way to much computer for what I need, but it will last me for years and has never let me down.

I will continue to update this post as I am always trying out new stuff. Anything of value will be added to this as it comes up.

To Your Success,

@ImpatientTrdr
