The following is a fact sheet for investors interested in the Fantasy Virtual Red Light District ‘Land Auction’, and highlights the properties that are sure to attract the most attention.
What Types of Land are There?
Fantasy has created a number of building types that are primarily engineered for content creators — including the functionality to manage content generate revenues from content. The buildings have been inspired by Amsterdam’s Red Light District where sex workers perform standing in red light windows at ground level. This idea has been adapted for content — so stars of specific films present scenes from their films in windows. Users simply look at the window for long enough to show interest and and are sucked into the film in VR. Revenues are then generated from time immersed.
Investors can choose from a number of different buildings including penthouses, mid level apartments and even more discreet night club style frontages. All land has the same in built functionality (i) add media (ii) add payments for media (iii) add rewards for watching media (iv) connect to other properties (iv) referral system that allows owners to earn a % of spend for directing traffic to hot zones.
What is Premium Vs Non Premium Land ?
Fantasy has a number of content deals with premium adult content creators — eg BaDoinkVR. The deal with BaDoinkVR allows Fantasy to place premium content featuring global adult stars into 10 premium properties for launch. The lucky owners of these premium properties will receive revenue share of 25% on any sales the content generates. Land owners are of course free to add new or more content.
We expect that this premium properties will attract considerable traffic and therefore allow owners to also generate revenues from the in built referral system. We also expect that ‘non premium’ properties that are in close proximity to the premium properties will also become valuable.
How Does the Auction Work?
The sale works in three stages
- Investors Purchase FXXX Land Tokens (December 10- December 20)
During this period investors purchase the amount of tokens equal to the amount they want to invest in Fantasy. The tokens are used to bid for land parcels during the phase 2 ‘land auction’.
2. Land Auction (Q1 2020)
Investors are presented with an interactive map of Fantasy. Here they can bid on multiple plots of land by logging in, clicking on a land parcel and typing a bid . They can continue upping and submitting bids until the end of the sale. At this time the bidder with the highest bid wins the land and the FXXX tokens are burned.
3. Owner receives the property keys!
When the auction ends winners receive the keys in the form of a special blockchain token (called an ERC 721 token) that gives him/her access to and ownership of the land. This allows the owner to add media, receive payments, connect to like minded people, add favourites, messaging & chat.
