1. ONEROOT 520 Retweet Event for the Chinese Valentine’s Day Still Ongoing
ONEROOT launched a new round of lucky drawing event on Weibo in celebration of the Chinese Valentine’s Day. The fans who retweet the designated post will gain the chance to win a reward of 520 RNT, which means “I love you” in Chinese. The event is still ongoing. 2. ONEROOT Was Invited to Do AMA
On Aug. 8, Zeo Xiong, ONEROOT DEX CMO, was invited to do an online AMA under the DeFi series, jointly sponsored by Yikuailianxishequ, DeFi Lab, DOS Network and Hydro. With Dai Shichao, the founder of DeFi Lab, as the hostess, the AMA focused on DEX, which has been frequently mentioned by those big names these days. Read the following article for the details:

3. New Blood in ONEROOT DEX
We have a new strength joined ONEROOT DEX this month. With over ten years development experiences, Xu Luoshu once worked as an business software engineer for Niu Technologies and Cheng’an Information, and served the public security organs of several provinces and cities. He’s proficient in Asp.net, C#, Ajax, SQL Server and so on. Now he joins ONEROOT DEX as the head of DEX development.
Duties and Work Plan
1. Comb through the existing architecture of ONEROOT DEX, including software structure, process and documents, to standardize the development and deployment process;
2. Improve existing software functions, as well as continuously update and iterate the products, to meet the functional needs of existing customers.
3. Make deployment for the future of DEX, and create new blockchain application scenarios.
4. Products Planning
About R1 Protocol
In the past year, according to the usage of the two merchants ONEROOT DEX and Bithumb DEX, we have added the following APIs: rder/farm (order refresh), /user/bind-email (mailbox binding), /email/subscribe (mailbox subscription) ), /notice/~ (various announcement interfaces) and other interfaces, which actually have been in service for ONEROOT and Bithumb. However, the open source documentation of R1 hasn’t been updated in time, which made some people think that R1 protocol couldn’t satisfy the requirements of their applications. Later, we will comb through and release the existing API and update R1 protocol to version 2.0. With the new version, merchants can quickly develop their own Apps, websites, and get better liquidity sharing with other merchants. Some technical guidance will also be provided for merchants accessing R1, so that technology will no longer be a problem for them.
Short-term Plan
At present, the App and Web of DEX have been put into normal service. Then we will focus more on the improvement of the background functions and the access to third-party applications. There will be some more financial derivatives in the near future.
The essence of DeFi is smart contract. Given the interoperability, we will develop from two ways: on one hand, DEX accesses other ecosystem, such as wallets and DeFi products,; and on the other hand, integrate other games and financial derivatives into DEX ecosystem.
If all the financial tools and protocols can be connected and run together to create a huge financial center, the convenience and low cost of transaction will be enabled. That’s when the inclusive finance is finally realized.
