State of the Guild #35 – The Notice Board
Welcome to 2020’s first edition of State of the Guild! We hope everyone had a great holiday full of fun and rest. Now that it’s a new year, we’re kicking off January with your weekly roundup of all BitGuild-related news. Let’s get started.
In the last week of 2019, the development team focused on getting all the UI resources ready for the upcoming version, as well as addressing bugs and suggestions submitted by the community in the last update.
On January 1st, as previously announced, we closed all GuildChat Official Groups in order to create a more active environment in the app and help users connect with each other more easily. If you wish to stay in touch with the community and our GuildKeeper, join our GuildChat OG group. There, you’ll be able to meet fellow crypto enthusiasts as well as participate in fun events and lively discussions.
Starting this Thursday, January 2, the team focus shifts to the technical requirements of version 2.3. This mainly includes the integration of blockchain SDK to the app, starting with adding Bitcoin to the wallet features.
The new version, scheduled to be released at the end of January, will contain plenty of new features that the community has been requesting for a long time, including:
- The ability to create multi-chain wallets with the same seeds
- BTC wallet, coin pouch, and coin drops
- Public Groups recommendations
- The ability to view recently-used dApps
- The ability to share coins from Market to Chat
- The ability to share GuildChat, coin drops, URLs, and Market to other apps like Facebook, Twitter, Telegram, and WhatsApp.
2020 has some really exciting stuff in store for TronTrade. To kick off another amazing year, we are hosting several events in January, starting with a TronWallet x TronTrade trading competition. This consists of two events:
1. Trading Rewards of 40,000 TRX for Top 50 Highest Volume Traders.
2. Top 3 Buy-Volume Traders get a Bonus of 2,000 TRX each.
The events start on January 4 (00:00 UTC) and end January 11 (23:59 UTC).

The PI team also had a busy end of year working on the development of the new GuildWallet. At the moment, 65% of the work is completed for version 3.0, which will see the addition of BTC support as well as some other highly requested features. The first round of tests will take place on January 10, and the submission to the Google Chrome store is scheduled for February.
