Starcloud plans to mine Bitcoin from space using satellite

Starcloud’s CEO has announced plans to mine Bitcoin (BTC) from space, signaling a new frontier in cryptocurrency operations. This initiative leverages orbital platforms that provide constant solar power, thus overcoming terrestrial energy constraints. The company aims to deploy dedicated Bitcoin mining rigs on future satellites, allowing for the transfer of compute-intensive operations beyond Earth, following successful tests of Nvidia H100 GPUs in orbit to demonstrate data center viability.
