Roundhill Investments has filed with the SEC to create six Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) that would allow investors to bet on the outcomes of the 2028 U.S. elections, such as which party will control the presidency or Congress. This move aligns with a broader trend where asset managers are introducing ETFs linked to real-world events, appealing to investors interested in alternative forms of market exposure. However, these products are subject to regulatory scrutiny, as the SEC continues to refine guidelines surrounding prediction markets and betting instruments.
