The Bitcoin Street Journal Video Channel

Riot Platforms announced a record annual revenue of $647.4 million for 2025, a significant increase from $376.7 million in 2024. This growth is attributed to the company’s strategic pivot towards artificial intelligence and high-performance computing (HPC), as they leverage their power assets to position themselves as a major supplier in this sector. Riot also reported a production increase in Bitcoin, generating 5,686 BTC last year compared to 4,828 in the previous year, while the average cost of mining rose to $49,645 per bitcoin. The company further bolstered its strategy with a data center lease agreement with AMD, which has already begun generating revenue and reflects their ability to deliver power capacity at scale.
