The Reform Party has gained a significant advantage in fundraising, securing £3 million in a single cryptocurrency donation from investor Christopher Harborne, marking his second contribution to the party this year. This funding surge brings the Reform Party’s total donations to £5.5 million in the fourth quarter, surpassing both the Labour and Conservative parties. The Reform Party, under the leadership of Nigel Farage, has positioned itself as a pro-crypto advocate, being the first British political party to accept donations in cryptocurrencies since May. However, this practice has sparked concerns among UK MPs regarding the potential for foreign interference in politics, prompting calls to ban crypto donations altogether.
