Popular cryptocurrency in the world 2019: eyeQpad – eyeqpad
A cryptocurrency is a digital asset designed to work as a medium of exchange that uses strong cryptography to secure financial transactions, control the creation of additional units, and verify the transfer of assets. Cryptocurrencies use decentralized control as opposed to centralized digital currency and central banking systems.
1 BTC = 10719.90 $USD (July 2019)
Bitcoin (₿) is a cryptocurrency. It is a decentralized digital currency without a central bank or single administrator that can be sent from user to user on the peer-to-peer bitcoin network without the need for intermediaries.
Transactions are verified by network nodes through cryptography and recorded in a public distributed ledger called a blockchain. Bitcoin was invented by an unknown person or group of people using the name Satoshi Nakamoto and was released as open-source software in 2009. Bitcoins are created as a reward for a process known as mining. They can be exchanged for other currencies, products, and services. Research produced by University of Cambridge estimates that in 2017, there were 2.9 to 5.8 million unique users using a cryptocurrency wallet, most of them using bitcoin.
Bitcoin has been criticized for its use in illegal transactions, its high electricity consumption, price volatility, thefts from exchanges, and by reputable economists stating that “it should have a zero price”. Bitcoin has also been used as an investment, although several regulatory agencies have issued investor alerts about bitcoin.
1 LTC = 93.51 $USD (July 2019)

In technical details, litecoin is nearly identical to Bitcoin.
1 ETC = 5.97 $USD (July 2019)
Ethereum is an open source, public, blockchain-based distributed computing platform and operating system featuring smart contract(scripting) functionality. It supports a modified version of Nakamoto consensus via transaction-based state transitions.
Ether is a token whose blockchain is generated by the Ethereum platform. Ether can be transferred between accounts and used to compensate participant mining nodes for computations performed. Ethereum provides a decentralized virtual machine, the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), which can execute scripts using an international network of public nodes. The virtual machine’s instruction set, in contrast to others like Bitcoin Script, is thought to be Turing-complete. “Gas”, an internal transaction pricing mechanism, is used to mitigate spam and allocate resources on the network.
1 NMC = 0.819015 $USD (July 2019)
Namecoin is a cryptocurrency originally forked from bitcoin software. It is based on the code of bitcoin and uses the same proof-of-work algorithm. Like bitcoin, it is limited to 21 million coins.
Unlike bitcoin, Namecoin can store data within its own blockchain transaction database. The original proposal for Namecoin called for Namecoin to insert data into bitcoin’s blockchain directly. Anticipating scaling difficulties with this approach, a shared proof-of-work(POW) system was proposed to secure new cryptocurrencies with different use cases.
1 BCH = 325.99 $USD (July 2019)
Bitcoin Cash is a cryptocurrency. In mid-2017, a group of developers wanting to increase bitcoin’s block size limit prepared a code change. The change, called a hard fork, took effect on 1 August 2017. As a result, the bitcoin ledger called the blockchain and the cryptocurrency split in two. At the time of the fork anyone owning bitcoin was also in possession of the same number of Bitcoin Cash units. The technical difference between Bitcoin Cash and bitcoin is that Bitcoin Cash allows larger blocks in its blockchain than bitcoin, which in theory allows it to process more transactions per second.
1 Dash = 132 $USD (July 2019)
Dash is an open sourcecryptocurrency and is a form of decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) run by a subset of users, called “masternodes”. It is an altcoin that was forked from the Bitcoin protocol. The currency permits fast transactions that can be untraceable.
