Feature: Added Stratum Webhook

This evening we added the ability to allow a a self-hosted coin daemon to communicate with the stratum server. We needed a way to community with the stratum from the outside world from your coin daemon. To use this feature, simple head over to the API section in your pool manage panel. This will allow you to create as many API keys as you’d like, or delete them. Currently these API keys are only used to access your stratum’s blocknotify feature.

After you’ve created your key, head on over to the coin section to create and/or edit a coin.

Note: If you are adding a new coin, we recommend saving it, then go back to edit your newly created coin. If not, you will need to manually insert the coin’s id in the curl command.

Fill out the information above. Take note, this is the API key in the bottom left hand corner of the image that you just created. This will be used after you’ve saved the settings for your self-hosted coin daemon.

After you’ve filled out all the information, you will notice a Download Config button appeared on the right hand side. Downloading the configuration will yield configuration to help you get your self-hosted coin daemon up and running.

Note: The feature we added will be in the blocknotify section of the config file. It should look something like this:

blocknotify=curl -XPOST -H 'api-key: b5c874d0-2f3d-41ed-bef8-1c02801ad3f2' 'https://stratum.miningforce.org/webhook?coin=1&block=%s'

This specific line reports back to the stratum server once a block has been found. This updates information in the database for later use.

Bug Fix: Allow users to login with username into pool admin panel.

You should now be able to login to the pool admin panel with your username or email address. The placeholder before was quite confusing and users were unable to login to their mining pools.

Known Issues and Bugs

There are several issues that are known.

  1. Inability to delete a mining pool.
  2. Managed Pexa coin daemon not working as expected.
  3. A few mining pool’s stratums are unable to rollover to the new stratum update.
  4. Coin wallets in the platform are not viewable. (GraphQL error)
  5. Application not redirecting to https
  6. x16r and x16rv2 algorithm not showing up in the pool algorithm list.
  7. Infinite render loop in dashboard when error server side.

There are still a lot of known issues and bugs, community feedback is greatly appreciated.
