Aave governance dispute escalates as ACI and Aave Labs publish dueling reports

Following the U.S.-Israeli air attack that resulted in the assassination of key Iranian figures, including Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, crypto outflows from Iran’s largest exchange, Nobitex, surged by 700%, reaching nearly $3 million on Saturday, according to analytics firm Elliptic. This dramatic uptick reflects a potential capital flight as investors seek to transfer assets amid intensified sanctions and scrutiny from the global banking system. Iran has increasingly relied on crypto to navigate these sanctions, with Nobitex being a critical platform that allows conversions of local currency to digital assets, facilitating discreet capital movement out of the country.
