MM patterns example 1: Asian session forms a W ( head and shoulders ) early in the week (Tuesday or Monday) after a NY session drop. London retraces into the Asian session range highs. NY then reverses to the range lows.
This pattern can be described as a false move Monday (or Tuesday). If MM moves away from the psychological ranges fast and early in the week. If this happens there is a good chance MM will return to the psychological ranges later in the week. Usually in the NY session on Wednesday or Thursday (mid-week reversal).
