A man has been detained for questioning regarding the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of “Today” show co-host Savannah Guthrie, who was last seen at her home in Tucson, Arizona, on January 31. Law enforcement identified the individual after circulating images of a masked person who appeared at Guthrie’s front door shortly before she was reported missing. In connection with the case, a ransom note demanding payment to a Bitcoin wallet was allegedly received, with reports indicating a small payment had been made. The FBI has also recovered new surveillance video showing the armed individual tampering with the doorbell camera, which had disconnected around the time of Guthrie’s disappearance, raising further concerns about the incident.
