Magicians are coming to Paris 🇫🇷 – The Fellowship of Ethereum Magicians

Sois prêt Ethereum Magicians seventh in-person Council and sessions are coming! ✨
Including real wizard 🧙♂️ and a Magic in EVM code ✨
Councils are representing exactly what’s community missing — a place where discussions about the improvements in the Ethereum ecosystem should be made. We are aiming to host discussions, share knowledge, came up with solutions, educate and inspire each other to better up the Ethereum.
We all are building and contributing to this ecosystem and so don’t be silent, speak up and come up with a solution in the ecosystem by hosting discussions.
Ethereum ecosystem is a decentralized open-source and software is something that we all are contributing to. And there’s so much to be talked out and shared with the community. Let’s have a chat about EIPs, EVMs codebase, how to make better educational resources for the community, how to improve governance in the ecosystem … or just bring up your topic and talk about it, share the knowledge, learn…
Bring your questions, we will bring the network maintainers (devs and researchers) and Magicians OG’s.
We want to have discussions where we share knowledge, came up with solutions in the ecosystem, educate and inspire each other.
That’s why we are hosting Ethereum Magicians forum and organizing Councils, meetings, and sessions.
We were able to get 4 hour-long slots at EthCC thanks to the EthCC Organisers.
We will host our sessions on the second day of the EthCC Conference — March 4th in the afternoon, during EthCC. So get your ticket to EthCC, enjoy Ethereum Magicians sessions and the rest of the conference. Our sessions will be on the Developer Tool track.
Operations Ring 🧑🚀
Anett and Jamie will introduce the Magicians Operations Ring. This will be a short Intro session at the beginning of the following sessions.
Run Ethereum Node 👨💻
Our dear community members: Felipe Faraggi, developer advocate from PegaSys and Greg Jeanmart, author of “Running an Ethereum Full Node on a RaspberryPi 4 (model B)” article at kauri, will show you how to set up and run an Etherum Node so you all can help decentralize the network. What are the advantages and disadvantages come with running an Ethereum node. You can’t miss this session!
ETH1.x Stateless Ethereum ⛓
ETH1.x Stateless Ethereum Working Group lead by Piper Merriam is going to talk about progress made on Stateless Ethereum. How the current Ethereum is going to be stateless and move into ETH1.x Stateless Ethereum including Q&A session with Devs and Researchers from Stateless Ethereum Working Group.
Council 👥
Ethereum Magicians will have the third Birthday at EthCC so we decided to invite the ones, who started Ethereum Magicians forum including the real wizard 🧙♂️Greg Colvin and Jamie Pitts who formed and started Ethereum Magicians. We already invited Core Devs, researchers, and now we are inviting YOU. Maybe can we get Vitalik to join our Council? Maybe.
BTW we will have a very limited amount of special, shiny stickers created especially for this Council ✨
Ring meetings 💍
So far, nobody reached out to Operations Ring (Anett or Jamie) in case of help with organizing the Ethereum Magicians Ring meeting. It doesn’t mean that there won’t be any ring meeting. Feel free to organize one, tag Anett or Jamie in Ethereum Magicians forum post or let us know on Telegram if you need any help with organizing Ring meeting. Feel free to tag @EthMagicians on Twitter if you’re organizing Ring meeting, we are happy to share it. We already saw a tweet from Bob Summerwill hosting Ethereum Classic Ring Meeting.
Thank you dear community for being so generous and proving that supporting the Community work is important by donating to Etherum Magicians via the Gitcoin grant. Proving that people out there enjoy Ethereum Magicians forum and in-person meetings and sessions organized by Ethereum Magicians Operations Ring.
Thank you! 💛
We would like to kindly thank you to the EthCC organizers for letting us have Ethereum Magicians sessions during EthCC. If you have any questions or concerns regarding to Ethereum Magicians sessions at EthCC, please reach out to us on Telegram or me (Anett) directly, thank you.
