Its Fun Getting Into $Bitcoin – Brian Patrick
I’ll get right to the point.
$Bitcoin changed my life , and I know it can change yours ! ….
…Or
It can wreck you completely and leave you second guessing yourself forever while you hopelessly drown in a pool created from your own tears.
… I guess thats the risk you take when you decide to willingly handover your 40 hr work week of hard earned fiat, and convert it to a random string of numbers that claim to be some sort of digital currency.
what a world eh?
It was late March of 2017 when I went in for my shift at the local YMCA. I was a gym supervisor responsible for keeping things orderly and running the scoreboard for the numerous pickup leagues we offered.
I was doing my normal “walk around” collecting loose balls and trash when my journey brought me by a young man whom I had seen come in almost every day for months.
What made him different was that he never did anything …
He would come in , sit down, and be on his laptop the entire time.
No basketball, no weights…. just his laptop.
I had to ask … “ What do you do here everyday man ? , Are you like gaming ?”
He laughed a little before explaining to me that his parents were first generation Chinese immigrants, and he was suppose to be living a very strict lifestyle of school, and work, but he found this thing called Ethereum for $3 and now its at $200 so he just does that.
WHAT !!! …WAIT….WHAT !!! ….Tell me all that again ! What are you doing?
One hour later I was on Coinbase and watching charts. At the time, it was only Bitcoin, Ethereum, or Litecoin to choose from. I remember hearing about Bitcoin before so that was the one I wanted.
I watched for days or weeks until the price finally dropped to where I wanted and bought my first Bitcoin! …..no Im just kidding …. I DIDNT KNOW I HAD TO WAIT TO BE VERIFIED !! AHHH!!!
…. One week later , I bought my first Bitcoin for $2300.
I spent most of that summer learning about Crypto and by fall had established what I believed to be some quite impressive bags of coins. Things were great until the end of December. Then not so great.
In hindsight, I think a lot of things lead up to the Crash of 2018. ( ICO scams, tether, regulations, greed/fear ) but I also think it was good for Crypto as a whole to shake out some of the bad apples.
I utilized this time period(2018) for learning some basic TA.(Technical Anaylsis) with a good friend Joseph Ehrstein and began trading with the strategy always being about accumulating more Bitcoin.
In April 2019, the bottom was in (hopefully) at $3000, and we have since rallied to over $10,000 in just two months time.
The amount of people that have recently gained interest and started asking me about Crypto is amazing and I am so excited to see what Bitcoin and Crypto has in store for us in the next five to ten years.
I decided to found CryptoUnlimitedUSA with Joseph as a one stop informational source for new people coming into Crypto that need a good foot hole to start in. An honest place where we can share our experiences and knowledge to the people that are eager to learn and want to get involved.
Things were no different when I started, and they are no different now. The only guarantee in Crypto is “Nothing is guaranteed” , but if you believe in the tech, and you believe in the movement , then you will believe in the value… and thats what will drives the price.
