IronClaw targets security gaps in OpenClaw with new enhancements

IronClaw is being developed by @ilblackdragon to create a more secure version of OpenClaw, which had gained immense popularity despite significant security vulnerabilities that allowed credential leaks. In February 2026, a review by Koi Security revealed that over 300 skills available on ClawHub contained malicious code intended to harvest user passwords. IronClaw aims to address these critical flaws by incorporating built-in protections, distinguishing it from its predecessor’s lack of security features.
