But what is a synapse?

At synap.xyz we’re working to connect the blockchain world to the internet world through “synapses” events.

A “synapses” event is the connection between one blockchain event and one internet service, and vice versa! Once a defined event happens, the synapses start to perform one action as send emails, push notifications or transfer funds to another address. It could be almost anything your imagination is the limit. 🚀

How does synapse work?

Basically, you define one condition on one object and one action on a given provider, then we create one agent that will listen to all events on a given object and select only those that meet your condition, after that the agent performs your required action on the provider.

To simplify think in this way:
Given The sablier contrat at ethereum network
When the 80% of the funds are transferred
Then pay my allowances in compound.finance

Maybe you need one nonlegal invoice to your records and guess what? the compound.finance team creates a synapse with this functionality only you need to join this synapse:

Given One user that has requested a borrow at compound contract
When the user repay
Then send the user one nonlegal invoice by mail

What if the delivery fails?
Well, the system will try to perform this action three more times and if this three times fails too then we take one snapshot and encrypt such that you only can see that data at our dashboard.
