How to Schedule Edgeware EDG Transactions
We have recently announced that we integrated Edgeware into our tool — Automate. Using Automate, Edgeware users will be able to leverage the power of conditional scheduling with yet another chain. For more on that, please click here.
In this tutorial we will show you how to schedule Edgeware EDG transactions using Automate.
First, we need to get the signed Edgeware transaction.
Here is a tutorial on how to get Edgeware signed transactions: https://blog.chronologic.network/how-to-sign-an-edgeware-transaction-for-automate-f896d4fc38bc
The first section of automate will show you what token are you trying to send
- You need to select the asset that you want to schedule a transaction — so in this tutorial, you select Edgeware.
2. The EXECUTE section where you will put the signed transaction that you’ve created for Edgeware.
The CONDITION section is next.
3. Displays the shortened addresses of the sender.
4. It displays the token that you have chosen for your transactions — in this tutorial, it’s EDG.
5. You can specify how the condition for this transaction basically. By default, it’s the equal amount that we’re trying to send.
6. We can also use the time scheduling function by checking this checkbox.
You can set the date, time, timezone, and your local time for when to trigger your transaction.
At the bottom of the page, we have the SUMMARY section.
7. Displays the addresses of the sender.
8. Displays the addresses of the receiver.
9. Displays the amount that you’re going to send and the network you are in.
10. If you click on schedule, then it will set the transaction to execute and take you to the DAY payment screen. Whenever using Automate, users are prompt to pay 10 DAY tokens for doing so. If you’re not sure on how to proceed, check this tutorial on how to pay for your automation.
11. After you paid for the automation, a pop-up window will appear showing your transaction link. Be sure to save the transaction link in your computer before closing this window.
12. If you click on Schedule another one, it will reset the interface.
This is what the automate link looks like. It displays data like the Transaction id, Status, Transaction hash, etc.
You can also cancel your scheduled transaction by clicking the Cancel watching button at the bottom of the page.
