Gods Unchained, Buyer Offers and Web Notifications

Gods Unchained, Buyer Offers and Web Notifications

The latest version of Emoon Market boasts three big updates: Gods Unchained support, buyer offers and web notifications.

Gods Unchained Support

Gods Unchained is poised to be the game that breaks crypto gaming into the mainstream. The statistics behind the game are staggering:

  • 6,000,000 unique cards represented as NFTs
  • 7,000 unique Ethereum addresses holding the cards to date
  • 60,000 players registered for the game
  • 15 million dollar venture capital raise

Because the team has embraced the philosophy that a gamer truly owns his/her game assets, it enables the ability for users to choose the marketplace where they buy and sell their cards. At Emoon, we hope to be the marketpace of choice for Gods Unchained and we offer features that no one else has:

  • Sell cards for stable coins like USDC, USDT or DAI
  • Sell cards for ERC20 tokens like PASS, WBTC or WETH
  • Auction cards and accept bids in the form of other NFTs, including other GU cards — which allows users to functionally swap cards
  • Bundle packs of cards and sell them in a single transaction
  • Airdrop or gift cards to another user

Also note that you can buy and sell the other kinds of Gods Unchained tokens on Emoon, including PASS tokens, Kitty talismans and RAFFLE tokens.

Buyer Offers

The nature of the Ethereum blockchain allows for anyone to view any address’ assets. On Emoon Market, we’ve long supported the ability to view an address’ assets with our Address Asset Explorer tool.

We’ve taken things to the next level, such that you can not only view another user’s assets, but you can actually make an offer for another user’s asset — even if it isn’t officially listed in an auction. By using the 0x protocol, we allow you to bid on any asset at any time.

Ability to make an offer on any asset on Emoon Market

This concept flips the script on the classical buyer/seller relationship. You never know if the owner might be tempted by your offer!

But how does the seller in fact learn that an offer has been made? This leads to the next big new feature: notifications

Web Notifications

At Emoon, we take your privacy seriously. As such, we never store any personally identifiable information on our servers, including email or mobile number. One side effect of this decision is that we couldn’t notify users of activity on their address This was unfortunate, because it meant users had to go to the site to check for new bids, discover sales, etc.

Consequently, we have implemented web push notifications on Emoon. You can now opt in to web notifications. If you do, you will see a pop up whenever there is a new offer on one of your items and also whenever an item you have listed is sold.

To enable push notifications, go to My Account and click subscribe.
