Our Mission

The Bitcoin Street Journal (TBSJ) covers Bitcoin and the broader crypto economy with a street-level lens: clear, verifiable, and independent reporting that helps readers understand what matters and what is hype.

Editorial Independence (Church and State)

Editorial decisions are made by the newsroom, not advertisers, sponsors, or partners.
Business and advertising staff do not direct coverage or edit articles.
Sponsored content is produced under separate rules and clearly labeled.

What We Publish

We publish news, analysis, opinion (clearly labeled), guides, explainers, and interviews. Content types are labeled when needed for clarity.

Sourcing Standards

Primary sources (documents, filings, on-chain data, direct interviews)
Named expert sources
Secondary reporting with clear attribution

Social media claims are treated as unverified until corroborated.

Fact-Checking

Before publishing, we verify names, dates, figures, quotes, links, and context. If key claims cannot be verified, we either do not publish or clearly state the uncertainty.

Anonymous Sources

Used only when newsworthy, credible risk exists, and editors know the source identity. Never used for marketing or promotion.

Corrections and Updates

We correct factual errors transparently and timestamp updates as stories evolve.
