Dynamic Escrow Time and Detailed Analytics – Redeeem

In the past escrow time window was fixed and sellers couldn’t change it, but now sellers have the ability to set their escrow for each trade. For sellers this means you get to decide how long the buyers have to report a card before the trade window closes. Obviously, sellers prefer faster trades but consider that your card may get a better rate if you offer a longer escrow “cooling off period”. For Amazon we’ve seen the average be about 30 minutes which is enough time for the buyer to comfortably redeem the card without rushing.

For buyers, you’ll now see these specific escrow times listed on the products page so you can choose the offers that best match your preferences and lifestyle. Whether you’re spending the card right away and want a higher discount, or you want to use it later, you have that flexibility now.

Our buyer and seller statistics just got a major upgrade, sellers can now see the exact best times of day to sell, the best rates during those times, and the demand (how many credits the buyers have) as well as the time to sell a card average throughout the day.
