ETH/BTC had a very good few days. ETH has gained significant ground against Bitcoin , making ETH more valuable and desirable in the process. Second, and certainly most importantly, as can be seen from the chart, ETH/BTC has emerged from the downtrend it has been trading since the beginning of December.

Ethereum is a more ‘risky’ asset than Bitcoin these days. If ETH wins against BTC , that means investors become more risk-seekers. When investors are willing to take more risks, it’s always good for alternatives and the market in general.

This breakout could be the beginning of a new bullish (recovery) phase for altcoins.
