Crypto Rap (Bitcoin hidden In Lyrics) – Anari Sengbe
Bitcoin is seemingly impacting everything. We can transact with anyone in the world, we can trade digital cats for a profit with the technology and now What if I told you, there’s a rapper hiding bitcoin in his lyrics. If you decode the lyrics, the bitcoins are yours.
That premise likely made you pause for a sec, maybe even ask… what do you mean, bitcoin in the lyrics?
Listen for yourself, this snippet is called “Gift”. It’s part of a series of clues to the bitcoins in the main song called “SFAC” (shots from a commoner). As the “Gift” title implies, there’s a gift of the 1st clue in the track.
In short, an album could contain bitcoin, with each song offering clues to unluck the bitcoins in the album. Those with sharp ears could figure it out, much like decoding Da Vinci’s secrets.
“I doubt folks would decode it from just that one track, the genius of this format (Kanye voice), is I can release other tracks with clues to help you decode the SFAC track”, says Anari.
SFAC, is a clever mix of bars, the 1st music to gain its own value by attaching its self to bitcoin. Anari Sengbe (King Sengbe, his rap name, he also goes by ‘E’, which we learned is a clever puzzle in its simplicity), said: “This will transform music in the opposite way the internet did, one song could become more valuable than a full catalog. Imagine the fan fair, when Jay-z puts $250,000 in a song or Eminem, this even changes how folks listen to music”.
Anari Sengbe is not your typical rapper, he’s a techie who spends most of his time coding apps and launching his own cryptocurrency called OWO.
“OWO means “money” in Yoruba”, says Anari, “OWO music will be an exciting product for me to build in the coming months”.
As this concept catches on, I’m eager to see the 1st mainstream artist to follow this new crypto rap art form. E-40 would be tough to decode, Obie Trice would be a fun listen, BOB maybe.
