Go to the CryptoUnlocked website and click “Create Campaign” in the upper right hand corner of the screen. You should now see a screen like the one below:
Scroll down to the “Will” section and enter a description of your challenge. Go to the date section right below it and enter when you will complete your challenge by.
You’ll also need to select an arbitrator to manage deciding whether your challenge has been completed or not. For beginner users, we recommend choosing “Realit.io team” as an arbitrator. You will also need to know who will receive the funds once the challenge is completed. On the left hand side, you can generously choose to let one of the non-profits that WeTrust has partnered with receive the funds donated for your challenge. On the right hand side, you can enter your name and the Ethereum address from your Coinbase account (described above) if you want to receive the funds contributed to the challenge.
You will also need to decide if the reward is received if the challenge you described above in the “Will” section happens (“Reward if YES”), or if the reward is received when the challenge doesn’t happen (“Reward if NO”). If you want, you can also include a Twitter hashtag or blog link for your challenge. When you are done filling out this page, check the box to indicate you agree to the terms and conditions, and then click the orange “Continue” button on the bottom.
On the next page, upload some cool photos for your challenge, as well as a catchy title! The better your challenge looks, the more likely people will donate to it. When you are done, click the orange “Continue” button.
Enter a description of your challenge on this page. Try to describe the challenge in detail, explaining why people should care about the challenge and why you are the right person to perform the challenge. Links to social media sites, blogs, and videos are welcome on this page!
You’re all set! Review your challenge, and once you’re happy with how it looks, click “Submit and Launch”. Your MetaMask will pop up with a window asking you to confirm the transaction. Once you confirm it, your creative challenge idea will be out there for the whole world to see it and fund your vision! Alternately, post your challenge free of charge by selecting the Faucet option.
