With news of Libra’s debut in the Cryptosphere dominating the entirety of last week, the crypto industry is certainly heading towards a new age. The launch of Libra marks some key milestones which are important for the growth of the crypto industry as a whole.
Libra brings the following things to the table:
· It’s a digital currency in a truly borderless economy.
· A multi billion dollar company developing and releases its own crypto
validates what we’ve all believed so far.
· Kalibra will be the mass adoption vehicle behind Libra.
· It resembles various tools that are already available.
· The company behind Libra might not have the best reputation or best
interest of users in mind so this might merely be a market opportunity.
· It’s suspected that it won’t be a smooth road for Libra as there have been various calls by Congressional representatives to halt developments.
Ripple, a dark horse project, has been around for roughly seven years and their recent major partnership announcement with Moneygram will enable borderless payments through the blockchain and this will further propel more companies to adopt blockchain.
All this news certainly doesn’t come as a surprise to us early adopters as we’re already believers of the potential that this technology brings to the table and have familiarized ourselves with it over the past few years. This time is certainly important for us as crypto will eventually start to thrive in the real world.
As for Aeryus, we’ve been listed on CoinGecko thereby allowing everyone to see our stats update in real time. In the past seven days we’ve gone 20% up and we’re also 20% up on users in social channels as well. There has also been tremendous growth on platforms like Telegram and people are definitely becoming more and more familiar with Aeryus and what it has to offer.
In the past couple of weeks, we’ve been working hard in the background to establish various alliances that will help us grow even further and our first step in doing so will be a wallet for a project that Nic has had the opportunity to engage with. There will be official announcements to look forward to in the coming weeks and, while the blockchain space is by no means an easy space to work or develop trust in, we’ll still be striving to bring you the absolute best and revolutionary technology.
Other than furthering our own development, our initiative is to provide support for other blockchain projects as well and related announcements for those should be around in the coming weeks.
As far as blockchain support is concerned, you can be certain that whenever we announce a specific blockchain to support, we’ll be talking about the complete suite of services behind it and, of course, the APIs that go along with it all. For example, we currently have functions natively maintained and built within our ecosystem through which we can build and maintain wallets. Each individual blockchain has its own strengths to offer and our intent is to capitalize on these strengths.
The senior developers leading our team are nothing short of exceptional as they’ve worked over the past 2 weeks to rework the dev infrastructure which, in turn, helps with development flow and releases. We’ve got clients beta testing e-commerce and ChainPayments Web is slated for an end of June launch. If you’ve got clients that are interested in accepting digital currency payments and would like to beta test ChainPayments then they should get in touch with Hector either through Telegram or at H.lorenzo@aeryus.com.
As for the ChainPayments app itself, we’ve done a ground up overhaul of what it’s supposed to be. Various changes are being made in the way of usability, the interface and how things are displayed to users. The user experience is being polished and has improved by a tremendous amount and, given the way things are going, a Quarter 3 release is what we’re currently hoping for.
Alan has moved to FTL and is on the team full time.
As for exchanges, we’re fielding several offers from other exchanges and our hope is to deliver an announcement before the first of July. Our goal is to get into a high quality exchange so those holding our token can get some real volume as well as an opportunity to capitalize on the fact that they’re early adopters.
