It gives some lines to watch for behaviors as support or resistance

The green line is a potential line of support that has 3 points of contact and has yet to fail.

The orange lines are unconfirmed, and the red lines are broken but may act as resistance later.

Light green lines are resistance that upon breaking could be a good sign of reversal.
