Blockchain.com has secured registration from the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to operate as a crypto asset business, enabling it to offer brokerage, custodial, and institutional-grade crypto services in the UK. This move is a continuation of Blockchain.com’s strategy to strengthen its European presence, following the MiCA (Markets in Crypto-Assets) license it obtained last year, which allows for operations across the European Economic Area. As the FCA actively registers crypto firms to promote a secure environment for digital asset innovation, Blockchain.com is positioning itself to comply with the UK’s forthcoming regulatory regime expected in 2027.
