Bhutan launches Solana-backed digital nomad visa with $TER

4 Reasons Why Ethereum Is Not a Competitor to Bitcoin

Bhutan has launched the world’s first digital nomad visa backed by the Solana network, which allows remote workers and digital professionals to reside in the kingdom for up to 36 months. This initiative is part of Bhutan’s strategy to integrate blockchain technology into its national systems, facilitated by the use of the $TER token—a sovereign gold-backed token issued on Solana. The program, requiring an application fee and a refundable deposit in $TER, aims to attract digital nomads to boost the country’s tourism and economy while promoting the adoption of its blockchain systems.
