ArmorCode raises $16M to enhance exposure management platform

ArmorCode has successfully raised $16 million in a funding round led by Cheyenne Ventures, bringing its total funds raised to $81 million since its founding in 2020. The Palo Alto-based firm focuses on unified exposure management, offering organizations a comprehensive view of AI agents, MCP servers, and shadow AI applications. This is particularly pertinent as enterprises face challenges from uncontrolled shadow AI deployments, which raise concerns regarding data leaks and compliance. The new investment will be directed towards enhancing ArmorCode’s AI Exposure Management capabilities and fostering product innovation to address the increasing need for effective AI governance in 2026, a pivotal year for compliance in the sector. Additionally, Phil Venables has been appointed to the Board of Directors to help guide the company’s growth in navigating the complexities of AI risk management.
