Anthropic makes Claude Memory feature free, eases AI migration

NEAR Launches Near.com super app, touting AI capabilities and confidential transactions

Anthropic has made its Claude Memory feature freely available to all users, addressing the challenge of transitioning to new AI platforms by allowing the AI to remember details such as job titles and project goals over time. To facilitate this switch, they launched a migration tool that enables users to export their preferences from ChatGPT or Gemini and import them into Claude’s settings, effectively streamlining the onboarding process. This update follows Claude’s rise to the number one position on the App Store free charts in March 2026 and is complemented by the introduction of premium integrations with Slack and Figma for free users.
