The model enhances long-context processing through the use of Gated DeltaNet to better manage memory growth, which is particularly important as models struggle with scaling. Alongside this, Alibaba introduced Qwen3.5-Plus, an API version tailored for users seeking production-ready tools and easier integration, featuring a larger context window and built-in capabilities for managing conversations. This release comes as Alibaba seeks to increase the user base of its Qwen chatbot app in China, competing with ByteDance’s Doubao and DeepSeek.
